This week (March 6th-13th) is Tree Week! In association with The Tree Council of Ireland, The ESB and Coilte celebrate the natural pride of Ireland.
The yew trees found in Loughcrew Gardens are said to be among the eldest known trees in the country. That’s why you should celebrate Tree Week with us this Saturday the 12th of March in Loughcrew Gardens.
Come along and climb one of the magnificent trees at Loughcrew Gardens and Adventure centre or use the Tree top zip line. To have some fun on these activities come along from 11am
In the Loughcrew Gardens Coffee Shop there will be a workshop on the Lore and Legends of the unique collection of trees at Loughcrew gardens by Cathleen Brady Ecoendeavours. There is a lot to learn about the humble tree so come along and make a day of it at.
