Lough Creebh Lake Walk

Looking for somewhere new to take your dog for a walk? Or are you just looking for a place to explore with your family? Lough Creebh (also known as Lough Craobh) is one of the hidden gems in the North Meath hinterland where you might embark on your next adventure.

Located on the grounds of the historic Loughcrew Estate, Lough Creebh is hidden within the woodlands and out of view.

Recently new signs and arrows have been erected in the small forest to guide you along your walk. The woodland is also home to a network of tunnels dating back centuries. The tunnels are still visible today.

The walk is quite a hilly one so be sure to bring some good walking shoes. When you get to Lough Creebh and the top of the woodland walk, the views are so rewarding!
