WILL THE EASTER BUNNY VISIT LOUGHCREW GARDENS THIS WEEKEND?
Loughcrew Gardens are delighted to announce that over Easter Weekend (Saturday 30 March, Sunday 31 March & Monday 1 April) entrance to the Gardens will be reduced to HALF PRICE. Did someone say Easter egg hunt?
During a walk through the six acres of gardens visitors will meet Alice in Wonderland and other creatures from Lewis Carroll’s book, along with an insect walk and fairies hiding in trees.
The garden incorporates extensive lawns and terraces, a canal and water garden, St Oliver Plunkett’s family church and Tower House, the foundations of the original Loughcrew Long House and other sculptures and fantasies.
On Easter Sunday entrance to the Gardens includes a FREE Easter Egg Hunt between 2-4pm – children can run through the gardens searching for hidden eggs and seeking out the ever elusive Easter Bunny!
Loughcrew Coffee Shop is now fully open for the 2013 season. Each weekday, between 12-5pm, and weekends, 11am-5.30pm, the Coffee Shop offers delicious Salads, Paninis, Wraps, Sandwiches and Homemade Soup and Brown Bread – along with mouth watering cakes and buns.
